After two weeks on his own in the wild, beloved family dog
Luke, has finally been brought to safety. For 13 days Luke has been braving the heat of summer, avoiding coyotes and rattlesnakes, and scrounging for food and water. On Saturday morning, July 6, 2013 a local land owner recognized a stray dog lapping up water on his property and called the number he has seen for a missing dog on fliers and Facebook. Eddie Rodriguez and his family are overjoyed and relieved to have their furry best friend back.
Although a little worse for the wear, Luke is currently receiving medical care at his local vet and will be home safe and sound in no time. Luke is one tough dog!
