Police are searching for unknown intruders who confronted a Menifee resident in bed during a home invasion robbery Monday night.
The incident was reported at 8:36 p.m. in the 27000 block of Covington Way. According to a police report, the victim was in bed when intruders forced entry into the home. The victim was confronted by the suspects and verbally threatened. The victim was not harmed, and the suspects fled prior to the officers’ arrival.
No other details were released about the victim or any items stolen from the residence.
Officers conducted an extensive search of the area and were unable to locate the suspects.
