Story and photos by Kristen SpoonMembers of the Paloma Valley High School class of 2014, numbering 556 graduates, celebrated the end of their high school years and participated in commencement ceremonies before a packed stadium Wednesday night.
The graduating class was presented by principal Don Williamson and accepted by Dr. Jonathan Greenberg, superintendent of the Perris Union High School District (left). Diplomas were presented by members of the district Board of Trustees. Menifee Mayor Scott Mann addressed the audience.
Students delivering addresses to their fellow graduates included Queen Kleo Denise Caoile, class valedictorian; and Julie Phan, salutatorian. ASB President Justin Doring directed graduates to "turn the tassel" at the conclusion of the ceremony.
Music for the ceremony was provided by the PVHS Band, under the direction of Pat Arnold.
