All the local high school football teams are back in action tonight and league play is underway as the season reaches the halfway point.
Paloma Valley High School (3-2) will be at home against Lakeside at 7 p.m. in the Wildcats' Sunbelt League opener, and it's Homecoming. Be sure to get there early and stop by the Menifee 24/7 booth.
Heritage High School (5-0) will try to stay undefeated in its league opener against Elsinore. The Patriots will also be home tonight for a 7 p.m. game.
Santa Rosa Academy is playing at Sherman Indian.
