Menifee Valley Chamber of Commerce celebrated its 36th anniversary Friday night with a Mardi Gras party at Menifee Lakes Country Club.
Nearly 300 people attended the event, which was a fundraiser for the Chamber. Guests, who dressed for the occasion and were given party masks, helped raise money through the cost of admission, door prize tickets and a silent auction.
Entertainment included Fleet Easton, a popular entertainer in the desert area; Florence LaRue, lead singer with the 5th Dimension; and Robert "Hollywood" Moreno, who served as the musical director and host for the evening. Robbie Motter of the Chamber organized the event.
