Menifee Police Checkpoint Nets Citations, 4 Arrests

The Menifee Police Department Traffic Unit has released the results of its DUI/Driver's License checkpoint, conducted last Saturday, March 2, from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. at State Route 74 and Palomar Road:

-- 808 Vehicles Screened
-- 37 Vehicles sent to secondary inspection
-- 3 DUI-Alcohol suspects arrested
-- 25 Field sobriety tests administered
-- 6 Drivers cited/arrested for operating a vehicle unlicensed
-- 5 Drivers cited/arrested for operating a vehicle while suspended/revoked
-- 10 Vehicles towed for unlicensed/suspended drivers
-- 1 Arrested on other criminal charges

Menifee PD will conduct another DUI/Driver's License checkpoint on Saturday, March 16, 2013.
