A brush fire burning in Temecula has covered about 30 acres and there is no estimated time of containment, according to Cal Fire officials.
The fire was first reported at 3:18 p.m. near the intersection of Rancho California Road and Via Santa Rosa. The initial report by fire officials was of 2-3 acres burning in "moderate fuels" at a moderate rate of spread. By 4:25 p.m., the fire was at 30 acres and Rancho California Road was closed at Business Park Drive.
More than 125 firefighters and two air tankers are fighting the fire.
